 The Residual Current Circuit Breakers (RCCB's) range is commonly used to open a circuit automatically in the case of an earth leakage fault between phase/ neutral and earth, greater or equal to 10, 30, 100, 300 or 500mAFor an use in domestic, commercial and industrial installations.
The mechanical indicators, appearing on the front face of the RCCB, linked to the contacts show the positive opening of all poles. A second indicator shows that the RCCB has been tripped by an earth leakage fault and allows a differentiation between “Off” and “Tripped” status.
To prevent nuisance tripping all the RCCB's are protected against transient voltages (lightning, line disturbances) and transient currents (from high capacitive circuits). RCCB's Type A for DC-pulsating faults or time delay devices are available, please consult us.
